The Garden Route is one of the most beautiful and popular travel destinations in South Africa. It officially starts in Swellendam and ends in Humansdorp just before Port Elizabeth. The most interesting section of the route lies between Mossel Bay and the Storms River in the Tsitsikamma Nature Park, which is part of the Garden Route National Park.

La Plume is a Boutique Guest House on a working ostrich and cattle farm with spectacular views of the Swartberg Mountains and the Olifants River Valley. Oudtshoorn became known for its many ostrich farms, but the surrounding area has much more to offer. The Cango Caves, for example, are considered to be one of the most beautiful stalactite caves in the world and are definitely worth a visit. The standard tour lasts 60 minutes and should be booked in advance.
