Beautiful Botswana
Chobe National Park
Chobe is Botswana's first national park and is named after the Chobe River, which also forms the northern boundary of the park. The river carries water throughout the year and attracts herds of animals and water birds. The Park is also home to huge herds of elephants and safaris can be enjoyed in open-air safari vehicles or by boat along the river.
Okavango Delta
This spectacular marshland is largely untouched by human activity, which is why nature has thrived here. Watching the various predators, elephants and buffalos meet at the various watering holes is quite a sight to behold. There is no experience more connected to Botswana's Okavango Delta than a journey through its reed-lined channels in a mokoro, a traditional means of transport, similar in shape to a canoe.
Makgadikgadi Pans
The Makgadikgadi Pan, a salt pan situated in the middle of the dry savanna of north-eastern Botswana, is one of the largest salt flats in the world. The nutritious grasslands of the Makgadikgadi Pans National Park attracts thousands of animals including ostriches, oryx and springbok. Watch elephants drink and play on the banks of the Boteti River, or witness the vast zebra and wildebeest migrations and the many predators these migrations bring.
