From the Beach to the Bush

Go on a journey of discovery through this diverse, vibrant and beautiful country. A melting-pot of landscapes, cultures and cuisines – there really is nothing quite like South Africa. With a bit of luck experience the big five in the wild, or go for a stroll through the bustling streets of Cape Town. You also wouldn’t want to miss a drive along the beautiful Garden Route or a trip out to the famous winelands.

Cape Town

It is no surprise that this multi-awarding winning city is a tourist favorite. This coastal gem contains some of the world’s best restaurants and beaches and is home to one of the new 7 wonders of the world: the majestic Table Mountain. This top attraction can be experienced by cable-car or along one of its many scenic hiking trails. Equally popular is the Victoria and Alfred Waterfront and the Cape of Good Hope, be sure to add both of these to your itinerary.

Garden Route

The Garden Route is a scenic and diverse region along the east coast of South Africa, and probably one of the most popular road trips in the country. The entire route can easily be explored by rental car, and popular activities include hiking, biking, golfing, swimming, surfing, fishing, canoeing, abseiling and bungee jumping.

Kruger National Park

The Kruger Park is one of the largest game reserves in Africa and home to the famous big five. Perhaps you’ve seen some of these animals on TV or at your local zoo, but nothing comes close to experiencing these glorious creatures in their natural habitat. It’s quite spectacular when your car is stopped so that a herd of elephants can pass; or when a rhino stomps out of a mud hole a few meters away from you. No trip to South Africa would be complete without a visit to the Kruger Park.
