Britta first discovered Africa in 2005, and that initial journey marked the beginning of a long and very deliberate commitment. What fascinated her then still shapes her work today: the diversity of landscapes, the closeness to nature, the cultural depth, and the distinctive way travel is experienced across the continent.

Originally from Germany, Britta lives in South Africa and has travelled extensively and worked throughout Southern and Eastern Africa. Over more than 20 years, she has built in-depth knowledge of the regions, lodges, routes and on-the-ground details. A significant part of this experience comes from nearly a decade spent working for one of South Africa’s leading luxury tour operators — a period during which she learned the finer points that truly make a difference to a well-planned journey.

Today, Britta combines this practical expertise with first-hand personal experience. She understands not only the well-known highlights, but also the subtle differences between lodges, travel seasons and routing — and knows what is realistic, well-balanced and meaningful. This forms the basis for individually designed journeys that are carefully planned while still allowing room for personal discovery.

The aim is to create travel experiences that are authentic, safe and personal — presenting Africa as Britta herself values it: diverse, inspiring and genuine.
